over pricing items,horrible customer service

Poor service,incorrect prices
Shoppers saying items unavailable then showing pics with your requested item in the pic,overcharging for meat
Shopper sent pic with price of steak but they charged me double the price,customer service is useless,its a shame what they have become
They are full of excusses
I had to cancel my subsciption.

Fees, fees and more fees

$20 service fee, plus taxes, plus delivery fee, plus tip. Grand total almost $30 just to have groceries delivered. What a mess. I used to use them all the time now it’s nowhere near worth the headache and over charging. Never use this service

I had been a dedicated instacart…

I had been a dedicated instacart shopper for years, these people deactivated my account for using my card at an unauthorized retailer which I did not do! I provided receipts for the transactions to prove I did not use my instacart card, however they did not accept my receipts and they stop responding to me, they would not even tell me how my receipts was not sufficient enough to open my account. Disgusting.

Bad experience

I cancelled my subscription because not worth it at all. They jack up the prices and add fees. Also, it's getting harder and harder to get the correct items you ordered. Replacements are bad

Instacart is a complete scam

Instacart is a complete scam! Terrible business practices!! If items are missing from an order, there is no notice of the fact that items were not delivered and they will only give a "credit" on your instacart account. Nor will they have the missing items delivered. I have just spent 1 hour trying to get a refund to my credit card. They simply won't do it. Never again.

Instacart is a SCAM!!

Instacart is a SCAM!!! They sign you up for a $99 a year subscription without your knowledge. Then when you call them to ask for a refund they pass you from one person to another. They also tell you that it is against company policy to give you their corporate location. Also ultimately you are speaking to a call center most likely based in India, but they will not tell you that or anything else about the company.

Sad.

Sadly, this service is unreliable. I don't think they screen their workers or train them well. I would frequently receive incorrect items. Sometimes I ordered organic items but would receive non-organic. Other times, items were completely omitted despite being in stock at the store.

If I could give a zero then I would and here’s to my reasoning, I have never set up an account with Instacart whatsoever and I noticed there was a charge $111 and actually there was two charges which one was on the 11th and the other was the very next day on the 12th both being $111. I called Instacart and they said that I had signed up for the trial which I never received any food I don’t even know what that trial consists of although I never signed up whatsoever and I have no idea why I was charged and also one day apart from one another so I don’t know if anyone else has experienced this but I feel like I was definitely scammed and shouldlet those of you know

3 Orders Placed - 3 Orders Wrong

I have placed 3 orders - and all three were done incorrectly. I clearly stated "no substitutions" and every time they did substitutions. There were 2 incorrect orders yesterday, because I called IC and threw a fit after the first one, so they said they would have the guy do it over - and less than an hour later he did it AGAIN. That's when I called and said cancel the whole thing, give me a refund and I will never use IC again.

Additional Note - one item they sub'd for something else and said they didn't have it, I literally found the item I wanted in the store NEXT to the item they sub'd with when I went in the store yesterday afternoon - unacceptable.

A:

Seriously? They have already scientifically proven that is not spread that way. How many strangers & kids and semi drivers and warehouse people touch your stuff before it even leaves the store.

A:

No, they don't by policy. But I've found they don't deliver anything else either. Last two orders were cancelled. I dumped my account and told them to keep the gift card balance. Done with InstaCart.

Yes, I think they are scam artist. No integrity, in our business if we don't delivery the full order, we don't charge the customer for it. Basically they are stealing from people.

Well, this is almost two weeks old so you probably don't need an answer. I just used them once a couple of days ago and after much searching, it appears there is no way to contact them. They made a $50 error on my order and I am going to have to eat the cost. I sent a reply when they emailed me to rate my driver. They credited me $17 on my next order for the items I paid for and didn't get but I will never do business with them again. They didn't give me a refund! They charged me the amount in my cart, not the amount actually spent in the store! Thankfully I have the receipt. I'm calling my bank to dispute the charges.

How can I get a return phone call??????

A:

You can't! The only way I got a response from them was when they emailed me to rate my driver and I gave a bad review for her and Instacart. I got an email back. Otherwise, there is no Customer Service! I tried everything under the "Help" section and got nowhere!

I don't think you can. The first call I made to them, I stayed on hold for over 2 hours before they answered. This time I stayed on hold over 4 hours, and then they just disconnected the call. I called back and held for almost 3 hours, then gave up, and I have opted for posting my review - online.
